Life Education is a programme that is run all over New Zealand. On the first week back to school in term four they came to our school (Te Awamutu Intermediate). On the third night they were at our school a 15 year old male came and burnt the trailer down. This meant that we could not participate in this programme until the next trailer came which was somewhere in the North Island. The trailer arrived a few days later but it did not have the resources they needed. The trailer is staying at Te Awamutu Primary and schools all around Te Awamutu are trying to fundraise to help pay for this programme. A group of students from Te Awamutu Intermediate are also having sausage sizzles all over Te Awamutu to help pay the teacher/instructor who has spent time and money putting together this programme. I really hope the police find the person who burnt the Life Education trailer down and make him pay for the damage.

They did get the 15 year old responsible but as he is 15 there is not much in the way of punishment that can be dealt to him. What do you think about teenagers committing crimes and being (basically) able to get away with it because they are under 18?

I think they shpud still be punished but may be a little bit lighter but not scott free. because they can do basically do what ever they want.
